Our engineers represent the front line in support, which is why it is crucial we recruit the right kind of person for the job. Two factors are important to us: an approachable and caring attitude and, of course, first class technical ability. All engineers have extensive industry knowledge and an extensive service record in the industry.


Regular assessments, ongoing comprehensive and rigorous training ensure their knowledge is always kept up-to-date.

• All our employees display a professional and caring attitude towards our customer's staff and tenants, particularly the elderly and infirm.
  
  
• Our service telephone lines are manned by highly trained staff whose experience allows them to deal with all calls efficiently and effectively.
  
  
• All our engineers carry an identification card.
  
  
• All our engineers wear smart company uniform.
  
  
• Our engineers carry all necessary spare parts.
  
  
• All our field and duty engineers are provided with mobile communications and are in regular daily contact with the Help Desk to facilitate rapid service delivery.
  
  
• All engineers requiring technical assistance have access to our service support engineers and field service supervisors.

In the event of a field service engineer encountering difficulty with any service problem, there is an established procedure for resolution, from supervisory through to manager level.

Your system has been manufactured and installed to the highest standards, and is designed so that simple periodic checks will ensure a long and trouble free life.


As with all types of electro mechanical equipment, regular servicing is necessary to ensure continuous, trouble free operation and your maintenance agreement ensures that the appropriate service intervals are scheduled. It also gives you priority response should you need an engineer at any other time.


As a contract customer, you get 24 hour cover, as well as having an engineer respond to your call within an agreed time,


Finally, and most importantly, a Focus Fire & Security Maintenance Contract will help keep your security system in good working order and capable of operating at optimum performance.
