We will take the appropriate remedial action (in accordance with your instructions), such as calling the Police and Fire Brigade or keyholder or even our own uniformed guards when suspicious activity is observed. potentially preventing crime instead of just simply recording it!

Focus Fire & Security’s remote video verification service helps reduce false calls by allowing an Operator to interactively verify an alarm event. Upon receiving an alarm event, an Operator at our Remote Monitoring Station will be able to see and verify any activity at the premises and even interrogate the intruder using voice transmission through connected voice horns. This information may then be relayed to the proper authorities or notification.

Focus Fire & Security are at the forefront of new developments and technology and CCTV Transmission is a fast growing area of CCTV and security system installations. Images and signals are now taken far beyond the confines of the onsite CCTV network, and transmitted to the wider world. As well as using coax, twisted pair or fibre-optic for transmission, many products now send images via telephone (dial-up and ISDN, and both private and public networks), the Internet, and even wireless mediums.

The benefits of the new flexibility in transmission systems mean you can choose where to view the image. Remote monitoring from our central control room that covers several sites, viewing from home or office desktop or from a remote location while travelling, or even transmitting the image through to the Police in the event of an alarm – the possibilities opened up by new transmission technologies are endless.
