Concept
Rayonet 2000 uses long range active infra-red beams to create an invisible security barrier around a protected site, ensuring that intruders are detected the moment they attempt to enter. Rayonet 2000 has an installed range of up to 500 feet between towers, allowing apertures from a few feet to perimeters of many miles to be effectively protected.
Rayonet 2000 has been designed to provide three key benefits:
Extremely secure - provide the highest probability of detection
Extremely accurate - the lowest potential false alarm rate
Best value - Ensure the reduction in initial installation and ongoing maintenance costs.
Operation
Instead of a standard graded or logic alarm response system, Rayonet 2000's infra-red beams are monitored by a microprocessor running a neural network, capable of making millions of decisions per second. Multiple beam break analysis accurately profiles the intruder and virtually eliminates false alarms by only activating in the event of a human intruder, ignoring small animals, birds or blown debris.
Reliable
Standard six foot Rayonet 2000 towers come complete with six transmit (Tx) and six receive (Rx) beam heads per tower. The large amount of beam information that this provides enables the microprocessor to accurately analyze beam breaks, ensuring fewer false alarms. Only Rayonet 2000 has Fault Tolerance, which means that if a beam becomes blocked, for instance by foliage, parked cars or snow, the system will alert you to the fault and continue to function with the remaining beams, ensuring that a zone is not left unprotected at any time.
Teaching and diagnostic module
Each Rayonet 2000 tower incorporates an RS485 port, which enables diagnostic and individual beam alignment data to be gathered remotely. This module allows Rayonet 2000's sensitivity and detection parameters to be remotely adjusted for different site requirements dependent upon individual security needs and current weather conditions. Beam alignment data can be gathered allowing the user to know if, and by what degree, a beam has moved out of alignment without having to physically check each individual tower on the perimeter.
The complete package
Rayonet 2000 is supplied fully tested and assembled in an IP55 enclosure with a unique thermal management and air ducting system, which maintains optimum operating conditions inside the tower during most weather extremes. Rayonet 2000 will also detect people attempting to climb over, or tamper with the tower. Rayonet 2000 is fully compatible with all major alarm monitoring systems
