Focus Fire and Security ltd has recently completed the installation of electronic security for over 35 new build schools in Merseyside, in addition to the 170+ schools already under the protection of the firms security services. Fitting state of the art CCTV, Fire, Intruder and building entry systems. including anti theft device “smokecloak” which fills a room in seconds with thick, glycol-based harmless fog ideal where small high value items such as laptops and projectors can be snatched by thieves.

With many blue chip clients including premiership football clubs and footballers from across the North West , we have also recently finished substantial security projects at Calderstones High School in Woolton, and Regatta Place on Liverpool waterfront, Sir Thomas Street apartments, and Myrtle Street hospital conversion.

The site is a cluster of 19 separate buildings covering an area of some 18 acres. Four of the buildings are grade 1 listed and the school itself is steeped in history.”

“The brief was to design and install a 21st century security solution capable of preventing intrusion and giving the earliest possible warning of fire, either by day or night, thus ensuring staff and pupil’s safety without hindering their use of the facilities.”
